On this day, 23 years ago, by the grace of God and our love for one another, Dawn Marie Belisle consented to be my wife and I her husband, through thick and thin, until death do us part.

Once, many, many years ago, when we where about 10 minutes from being homeless, I tried to send her home to her mother until I could get on my feet again. She refused to go. She said that if I were living on a park bench, that she’d be sitting there right beside me and we’d get through it together. If that isn’t love and devotion, I don’t know what is. I thank God for her every day.
